Postpartum Doula Services

As a birthworker, my goal is to support parents in making informed decisions and in feeling supported and adequately cared for. I don’t take over your role as parent, and I don’t want to take over a partner’s role, nor do I aim to influence or judge your parenting. I’m passionate about supporting parents in reaching their goals, with a specific interest in breastfeeding/chestfeeding, biologically normal infant sleep, and trauma-informed care.

According to DONA, research shows some of the benefits of postpartum doula support to be:

  • feeling more secure and cared for
  • success in adapting to new family dynamics
  • greater success with breastfeeding
  • greater self-confidence
  • less postpartum depression
  • an easier time bonding with baby
  •  a better relationship between partners 6 weeks after birth

All packages include:

  • A free 1-2 hour consult where we figure out what kind of support feels helpful to you + schedule follow up appointments
  • 8 – 32 hours of postpartum support
  • Free hands-on breastfeeding/chestfeeding support
